The platform offers stunning 300-degree views of the city’s iconic landmarks, including the Shard, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, and the BT Tower. On clear days, you can see as far as Wembley Stadium.
Horizon 22 is open seven days a week, ensuring you can enjoy the view at your convenience. Admission is free, but due to high demand, you should book tickets in advance for a specific time slot to enjoy the views. A limited number of walk-in spots are available daily. The views are best when the weather is nice but you never know about the weather in London, do you?
Before getting in, there’s a quick security check. You’ll need to walk through a scanner while your bags go through an X-ray scanner. The lifts are very fast and show the altitude while on the way up.
Once on the viewing platform, you can enjoy views from the two floors in almost all directions. Some of the well-known City of London buildings, such as the Gherkin, Walkie-Talkie, and the Cheesegrater, are right in front of the viewing platform, and there’s a good view over the Thames and the Tower and London Bridges. You can also see many Central London buildings from a completely new angle.
There’s a small cafe available for some drinks and snacks, but it’s better to plan to get food and drinks elsewhere.
