The Science Museum located in South Kensington is one of many museums in the surrounding area. The museum displays items and machines from many areas of science, like medicine, mathematics, computer science and chemistry.

In addition to the collection in the museum, there are many events and special exhibits, where you can get to know more about specific fields of science. The summer 2019 events, for example, display both space travel and self-driving cars.

The museum has numerous interesting ways of telling about science. You can look, listen to and try different things in the museum. One method is also an IMAX 3D theatre, which is particularly used for space-related shows. Wonderlab, which is aimed at children, is also an excellent area to visit as you can try and see different scientific phenomena.
