A walking tour through the Barbican’s highwalks and underground spaces, with stories of the Centre and the older history beneath it. The route includes the usually closed Library Stack Rooms.

Explore the Barbican after dark on a walking tour through its highwalks and underground spaces, including the usually closed Library Stack Rooms. Along the way, stories of the Centre’s hidden interior meet the older Roman, plague and wartime history beneath it.

Tours last approximately 75–90 minutes. Standard admission is £26.50, including the £1.50 transaction fee. Age guidance is 12+; the tour is not currently wheelchair accessible and includes steps and uneven surfaces.

The Barbican is worth visiting beyond the tour for its Grade II-listed Brutalist architecture, public spaces, highwalks and estate gardens, which can be explored freely.
