What is Outernet London?
Outernet is a free entertainment and media district next to Tottenham Court Road station, at the Soho end of Denmark Street. Opened in 2022, it's best known for its enormous wraparound digital screens, which fill the space with floor-to-ceiling visuals from immersive art and nature scenes to film trailers and brand showcases. The displays change regularly, so no two visits are quite the same.
The Now Building and the screens
The centrepiece is The Now Building, whose vast LED screens are among the largest of their kind in the world. You can simply walk in and look up. It's free to enter and a popular spot for photos and videos. Because the programme rotates, it's worth checking what's showing before you go.
Is Outernet London free?
Yes, walking through the district and viewing the main screens is completely free. Some ticketed events, exhibitions and gigs run alongside the free displays, and HERE at Outernet, the live-music and events venue beneath the site, hosts concerts and shows with their own tickets.
Good to know
Outernet is busy and best experienced in person. You should allow a little time to take in the screens. It's all step-free and right by the station, making it an easy add-on to a trip into the West End, Soho or Covent Garden.
