Bubbles in Chinatown

London’s Chinatown has a large variety of delicious foods, drinks and desserts, and we highly recommend trying bubble wrap waffles and bubble tea if you’re in the area.

When you enter Chinatown via the main gate through Leicester Square, you’ll find the Bubblewrap dessert shop on your right side. They make some of, in our opinion, the best desserts in Chinatown and we highly recommend visiting them if you have a sweet tooth or if you just want some wonderful dessert. You can choose from the favourites that the store has selected, or you can create your own from scratch.

If you want to make your own, there are four stages: choosing your base, ice cream, toppings and sauce. They have a wide selection of options. Our favourites were the specials at the time, the “Oreo Madness” and “Strawberry & Cream”.

Bubble tea is a super popular dessert drink in London, and we recommend trying it out at Cuppacha. When you order, you can customise your drink in a few different ways. Firstly, you pick one of over 70 available flavours. The flavours range from milk tea, fruit tea, pure tea, mousse tea and texture juice. Then, you can choose your drink size, whether it is hot or cold, the toppings and finally the amount of sugar and ice to add.

We chose caramel milk tea and taro milk tea on our previous visit. With the number of options they have available, we are sure you will find something you will enjoy.
