The food

Bunsik built its name on Korean corn dogs: sausage, mozzarella or a half-and-half of both on a skewer, dipped in batter and rolled in breadcrumbs, potato cubes, crushed ramen or crispy rice, then deep-fried and finished with sugar and a sauce of your choosing. Buldak mayo is the one to ask for if you want heat. The rest of the menu runs to Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki rice cakes, kimbap and noodle bowls.

The Villiers Street branch

This is Bunsik's second London site, opened in 2022 on the pedestrianised lane running from Embankment station up to Charing Cross. It's a small, counter-led space built mainly for takeaway, so expect a queue at peak times and very little seating. Most people eat theirs walking down to the river, a couple of minutes away.
