V&A Museum
Victoria and Albert Museum is a leading museum of arts and design in South Kensington. Its collection includes over two million items from five millennia of art and design, including sculpture, fashion, textiles, and jewellery. The building is a magnificent mix of Victorian and modern design, with several floors and rooms full of interesting items.
Taylor Swift | Songbook Trail
Until 8 September, V&A will host a trail showcasing Taylor Swift’s looks. The trail consists of 13 stops around the museum, each displaying a specific look from a music video or concert tour. The stops are on different levels and rooms of the museum, and the tour will take around 60 to 90 minutes. As you’ll get to walk around much of the museum, we recommend also paying attention to other items on display.
The gorgeous museum building provides a beautiful backdrop for the displayed items. The rooms and the lighting highlight the costumes and dresses on display.
How to Follow the Trail?
The trail is well-marked inside the museum. You should use the main entrance on Cromwell Road and follow the trail from there. Below you’ll see the sign in the lobby that directs you to the first display. All the other trail markers also indicate the next stop number.
What to Expect
Below, you’ll find samples of dresses you’ll see along the trail.
