The Other Art Fair

Held at Truman Brewery, this event combines affordable original artworks, more than 175 independent artists, immersive installations, live performances, DJ music and bar services into a wide-ranging cultural experience where visitors can easily spend several hours. The Truman Brewery area is also worth exploring, with nearby vintage shops and the popular Beigel Bake on Brick Lane.

The Last Days of Pompeii: The Immersive Exhibition

This immersive experience transports visitors back to ancient Pompeii using virtual reality and large-scale projections. The exhibition explores daily life in the city before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, recreates Roman entertainment in the amphitheatre and displays artefacts and reconstructions from the destroyed city.

Visitors can also explore the Villa of the Mysteries, discovered after the eruption, virtually and learn about archaeology through interactive activities.

London Design Week

London Design Week 2026 features a diverse programme of more than 100 individual events across five days at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. In addition to the main programme, the area hosts 135 showrooms and around 30 pop-up exhibitors presenting new products and industry launches.

TRI Design

TRI Design takes place alongside London Design Week and brings together design businesses, hotels, restaurants and galleries across Knightsbridge, King’s Road and Fulham Road. The programme includes exhibitions, workshops and installations.

The 2026 theme colour is Pantone’s Cloud Dancer, interpreted by participating venues in their spaces and products. The festival is curated by Bilen Zeremariam, editor-in-chief of OLISE magazine.

David Hockney: A Year in Normandie and Some Other Thoughts about Painting

This exhibition at the Serpentine North Gallery presents new works by the artist, many of which were created specifically for this show. At its centre is the nearly 90-metre-long painting A Year in Normandie, shown in London for the first time.

Inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, the work depicts the changing seasons around Hockney’s former Normandy studio and is displayed in Kensington Gardens.

Vikings: The Immersive Experience

This immersive experience transports visitors to 9th-century Scandinavia using replica props, large installations and 360° projection technology. Visitors journey through the Forest of Time, encounter the world tree Yggdrasil, board a Viking ship and follow the story of Queen Kraka (Aslaug), King Ragnar Lothbrok and their sons.

The exhibition also includes a VR experience and audio guide.

St Patrick’s Festival 2026

St Patrick’s Festival celebrates Irish culture and its influence in London. The main stage features traditional and contemporary performances, including The Commitments, and the parade is led by Emma Dabiri.

The programme also includes films, exhibitions, workshops and food and craft stalls.

Romeo and Juliet

Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet receives a new stage interpretation directed by Robert Icke. The production follows two young lovers as they attempt to survive their families’ long-standing feud, with tragic consequences.

Juliet is played by Stranger Things star Sadie Sink and Romeo by Noah Jupe, both making their West End debuts in this production.

Head of the River Race

This historic rowing race celebrates its 100th anniversary. Founded in 1926, the event has grown into one of the world’s major rowing competitions, attracting more than 300 crews each year to race along the Thames between Mortlake and Putney.

For the centenary year, clubs and universities from the UK and abroad are invited to take part.

Seven Wonders: An Immersive Experience

This exhibition showcases the seven ancient and modern wonders of the world through impressive projections and visual effects. The exhibition includes wonders from the Taj Mahal to Machu Picchu, while exploring their history, architecture and stories.

The experience includes a 360-degree immersive space, interactive elements and a virtual reality component offering new perspectives on these landmarks.
