What to expect
Bunsik on Charing Cross Road is the chain's original London site, opened in 2021 a minute from Leicester Square. It's best known for its creative corn dogs. The potato-mozzarella version went viral on social media. It also serves Korean favourites such as tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and kimbap. The space is small and often has a queue, but service is quick and prices are low, which makes it a good grab-and-go bite while exploring the West End.
Why this branch
This is where Bunsik started in London, and it remains the busiest of the branches by review count. It sits on the stretch of Charing Cross Road between Leicester Square and Cambridge Circus, so it's a natural stop between the theatres and the bookshops. Seating is limited to a handful of stools; most people take their food away.
Other branches
Bunsik has since opened across central London, including a dedicated Chinatown branch on Wardour Street, one on Villiers Street by Embankment, and another on Camden High Street.
