Selfridges on Oxford Street has been nominated as the best department store in the world, in 2010 and 2012.

The Selfridges department store was opened in 1909. It is London’s second-largest department store after Harrods and has an extensive collection of designer clothes on many floors. The clothes are some of the luxurious available in London and it’s worth walking through the departments even when not considering spending loads of money on clothes.

There is also a large cosmetics section including, for example, a range Korean beauty products.
