What to expect
ScandiKitchen is a Scandinavian café and food shop on Great Titchfield Street in Fitzrovia, a few minutes' walk from Oxford Circus. The café serves breakfast and lunch, with sandwiches, buns and coffee, and the shop stocks bread, cheese, sweets, drinks and cupboard staples from across the Nordic countries.
Finnish favourites
For Finnish visitors and expats, the draw is the Fazer range: Reissumies rye bread, Fazer salmiakki chocolate and Tyrkisk Peber liquorice sit alongside Swedish, Danish and Norwegian classics. It's one of the easiest places in central London to find a taste of home.
Opening hours and the Victoria café
The Fitzrovia shop is open 8am–7pm on weekdays, 9am–6pm on Saturdays and 9am–5pm on Sundays. ScandiKitchen also has a café on Buckingham Palace Road, near Victoria station.
